The Role - SEN Specialist Teacher - Luton As a SEN Specialist Teacher, you will: Deliver high-quality, nurture-based teaching to small groups and on a 1:1 basis Support pupils with SEMH needs, focusing on emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies Apply trauma-informed and attachment-aware practices consistently Plan and deliver personalised learning aligned to individual EHCP outcomes Work collaboratively with SENCOs, pastoral teams, therapists and external professionals Create a calm, structured and predictable classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valued You will play a pivotal role in building strong, trusting relationships that enable pupils to develop confidence, self-regulation and a renewed enthusiasm for learning.
