Job Role: SEND Teacher

Salary - £150 - £250 per day depending on experience.

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in the London Borough of Hillingdon, who are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract, working within their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate SEND specialist to make a real difference in a well-supported, well-resourced setting.

About the Role:

Teaching within a specialist ARP setting

The ARP consists of 3 small classes, supporting 9 pupils in total

You will be supported by 5 experienced support staff, ensuring excellent adult-to-child ratios

Planning and delivering tailored, engaging lessons to meet a range of additional needs

Working collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a qualified teacher (QTS)

Have proven experience working with SEND pupils, ideally within an ARP, SEN unit, or similar specialist setting

Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a nurturing, child-centred approach

Be adaptable, patient, and committed to inclusive education

Have a good understanding of EHCPs and differentiated teaching strategies
