Alternative Provision / SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Alternative Provision / SEN Teacher to support students who require additional support outside of mainstream classroom settings. This role is ideal for a teacher passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or behavioural challenges
  • Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
  • Work closely with support staff, families, and external professionals
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
About You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN students or in alternative provision settings
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
  • Committed to inclusion and student progress
