SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH) – Part Time, Barnet
Teach Now is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Barnet, London, for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time, temporary basis from 9 February 2026.

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, providing targeted support to help them engage, regulate, and succeed in school. Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Implementing behaviour support plans and emotional regulation strategies
• Assisting teachers with classroom learning and adapted activities
• Creating a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment
• Working collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals
What’s on Offer:
• Daily rate of £85 – £100, dependent on experience
• Part-time, term-time only hours: 8:15am – 3:30pm
