The Role

As a Teaching Assistant in this specialist setting, you will:

  • Provide personalised support to pupils with a wide range of needs, including speech and communication difficulties, sensory processing challenges, and medical or physical conditions.

  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised learning programmes and interventions.

  • Help pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience, while encouraging positive social interactions.

  • Create and maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment.

  • Support with personal care when required, always maintaining dignity and safeguarding standards.


What We're Looking For

  • Experience with SEN or young people with additional needs (desirable but not essential).

  • A caring, patient, and adaptable nature.

  • Positive behaviour management skills with a calm and constructive approach.

  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

  • A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.
