Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant – September Start
Location: Horsham

A friendly two-form entry, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ primary school in Horsham is looking for a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and can confidently support pupils with behavioural needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role

Support pupils with behaviour and emotional needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Help create a safe, supportive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people (school experience preferred)
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
A genuine interest in supporting pupils with SEN
Child only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Basic safeguarding understanding (training can be provided)
