About the Role Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent seeking a proactive and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 with ASD and ADHD.
This is a varied role where you will not only provide in-class support but also take on responsibilities as a Learning Mentor, delivering targeted interventions and helping pupils develop both academically and socially. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and making a meaningful impact in early education.
Key Responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils across KS1 with ASD and ADHD Delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development Acting as a Learning Mentor, supporting emotional regulation and behaviour Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment Supporting engagement through structured and creative approaches Monitoring progress and providing feedback to staffAbout the School This Brent-based primary school has a strong focus on inclusion and early intervention. The leadership team are supportive and provide ongoing training, particularly around SEN and behaviour strategies. The school offers a collaborative environment where staff are encouraged to develop and grow.

Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD and ADHD Confident delivering interventions and working 1:1 or in small groups Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach Strong behaviour management and communication skills Passion for supporting children in early years and KS1Applications are welcome from candidates with backgrounds in psychology, speech and language, youth work, mental health, or other related fields relevant to SEN roles.
