Academics Supply Agency is looking for a dedicated SEND Secondary Teaching Assistant to work in a variety of secondary schools. Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential. Assist in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans to meet the individual needs of students. Support students in classroom activities, ensuring they engage and participate fully in lessons. Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and other support staff to ensure effective learning. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a secondary school setting. Understanding of a range of SEND needs (e.g., autism, dyslexia, ADHD, etc.). Abil...
