Senior Account Manager (12 Month FTC) Department: Digital Employment Type: Full Time Location: PURPLE London Description The Senior Account Manager is responsible for both driving client success and contributing to the overall growth of the business. This role goes beyond client servicing, it requires strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and leadership maturity. The Senior Account Manager takes full ownership of key accounts, oversees delivery across teams, and is a key player in the agency’s business development efforts. Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Leadership
Lead the strategic direction and day-to-day management of key client accounts. Identify opportunities to grow accounts and proactively present solutions and ideas. Ensure client objectives are fully understood and translated into strong creative and delivery briefs.
Project Oversight & Delivery
Oversee the full lifecycle of campaigns and projects, from briefing and planning to execution and reporting. Plan a full production timeline and ensure this is communicated clearly to the client and delivered upon. Ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. Anticipate challenges and solve problems independently and confidently.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the senior point of contact for clients, building trusted, long-term relationships. Ensure that attention to detail is both present and perceived by all clients and they trust in both you and the business as an authority. Confidently lead meetings, reviews, and strategic presentations. Maintain professional, timely communication with clients, ensuring they consistently feel prioritised and confident they are receiving the highest standard of service. Navigate complex or sensitive client conversations with professionalism and empathy.
Commercial & Financial Ownership
Manage account budgets and scopes in a timely manner with accuracy and independence. Track and update consistently to ensure a clear view of the business financials. Monitor account profitability and drive commercial growth. Contribute to agency forecasting and financial planning processes.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Lead and inspire a team across accounts, ensuring clarity, accountability, and support. Provide structured feedback and mentorship to help develop junior talent. Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
New Business & Growth
Support new business efforts, including strategy, proposals, and pitching. Contribute to the agency’s growth strategy, identifying trends, efficiencies, and areas for innovation. Represent the agency confidently in industry conversations and new opportunities.

Proven experience in a senior client-facing role within a creative, digital, or social agency. Strong strategic mindset with the ability to lead big-picture thinking and detailed execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in presenting ideas and leading discussions. Commercially astute, understands budget management, profitability, and growth levers. Organised, proactive, and highly accountable. Emotionally intelligent with strong interpersonal and team leadership skills. Confident in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for delivering both client success and business impact.
