We are supporting a key client who requires an experienced Senior Accounts / Tax Manager to join there ever-growing business. Working closely with the Directors, you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships and individuals. Will also be required to carry out preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns, so knowledge and experience of this will also be required.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of junior and other staff members, so the ability to delegate and review work is essential. 

\n\n

The Role
\nAs Senior Accounts & Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a diverse client portfolio, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, and individuals. You will provide end-to-end accounting and tax services while acting as a trusted adviser to your clients.
\nYou will also play an important leadership role, delegating work, reviewing output, and supporting the development of junior and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities
\nManage a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
\nPrepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with reporting and disclosure requirements
\nPrepare Corporation Tax computations and returns
\nPrepare and review Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships
\nPrepare and submit VAT returns
\nOversee bookkeeping and financial records
\nProvide end-to-end business management services, including:
\nBookkeeping and financial oversight
\nCash flow management
\nPayment processing and banking transactions
\nCoordinate tax filings and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
\nCarry out company secretarial duties
\nDelegate, manage, and review the work of junior staff
\nMaintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards

Requirements
\nMinimum 5 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice
\nStrong technical knowledge of current accounting and tax legislation
\nProven experience preparing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
\nExcellent accuracy and attention to detail
\nStrong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
\nConfident communicator, able to advise and build strong client relationships
\nExperience using Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage (essential)
