We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Actuary to join our dynamic pricing team in the Europe. As a Senior Actuary, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring the organization remains competitive in the market.
Lead the development and refinement of pricing models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Data Analysis and Modeling:
Utilize advanced actuarial techniques and predictive analytics to assess risk and model pricing scenarios.
Collaborate with data scientists within the team to enhance pricing accuracy through machine learning and other innovative methodologies.
Act as a key advisor on pricing-related matters, supporting decision-making at an executive level.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all pricing practices comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
Stay informed on changes to regulatory frameworks and assess their impact on pricing strategies.
Mentor and develop junior actuaries within the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Lead project teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to pricing structures as needed.
At least 5 years experience in a pricing-focused actuarial role, ideally within the insurance or reinsurance sector.
Proven track record of delivering pricing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Advanced proficiency in actuarial modeling software and tools (e.g., Emblem, Radar, Python, and equivalent).
Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements and Solvency II.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex actuarial concepts for non-technical audiences.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic and commercial outlook.

Experience with pricing in a travel line of business
