A Senior Business Analyst will lead small to medium-sized projects and be part of a team on larger, more complex projects, leading specific epics and high-level requirements. You will ensure outcomes align with the service vision and business strategy by connecting current and future business models and delivering on the business architecture strategy. You will also support and inform product iteration, evolution, and optimisation.

You will build and manage effective stakeholder relationships internally and externally. You will challenge constructively and act as a critical voice to stakeholders and delivery colleagues to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose.

You will work independently and/or as part of a team and will have a good understanding of your own work area. You will help advance the Business Analysis community through sharing best practices and mentoring others.

Due to business requirements, this post is available on a full-time/flexible working basis. Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Investigating operational and business needs and problems, assisting in recommending service improvements and business solutions.
• Understanding and defining problems to support strategic decision-making that aligns with business outcomes and user needs.
• Eliciting, analysing, and validating business requirements and user needs, as well as business strategy issues, in the most effective manner.
• Collaborating with other professionals within the scope of the delivery to embed the Business Analysis role and value within projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Planning and leading large areas of Business Analysis delivery, owning challenges and driving to conclusions.
• Creating acceptance criteria, often using Behavioural Driven Development, to ensure proper testing of new services.
• Modelling processes and procedures using established techniques, understanding their purpose and importance.
• Producing periodic performance measures to inform stakeholders and facilitate discussions around the required service.
