Senior Business Development Manager / Watford / Hybrid / £60,000 base plus bonus
An established and growing B2B insight and services organisation is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate new client acquisition and drive continued double-digit growth. You will take full ownership of the sales cycle, from identifying and engaging prospects through to closing and onboarding, targeting senior decision-makers across the FMCG and retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and win new business opportunities Build trusted relationships with both warm and cold prospects Lead consultative sales conversations to understand client challenges and align tailored solutions Manage a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting and structured follow-ups Represent the organisation at industry events and networking forums Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and deliveryAbout You
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales role Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets Experience working with FMCG and/or retail clients Strong consultative selling skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders Highly self-motivated, resilient and commercially astute Skilled at pipeline management and opportunity progression Excellent networking and relationship-building capabilitiesThe Package
