Location: Based in Leeds, Borehamwood or Stockport.
Job Description A Leading Utility Subcontractor is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team from one of there offices to manage several utility projects across the South East;
Operational buying of civils materials for regional projects.
Lead negotiations for large capital equipment.
Support operational teams with project procurement requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.

Managing a wide variety of projects & suppliers across the UK.
Candidate Requirements Our client is looking for candidates with 2+ years' civil materials experience, failing that, construction, mechanical or electrical material packages
You will have experience of projects across either infrastructure, construction or MEP.
Ideally you will currently be working as a senior buyer, or an experienced buyer who is looking for progression.
Strong negotiation, supplier management and communication skills.
