Senior Compliance Analyst – London (Hybrid)
Permanent | Global Law Firm | £45,000
A leading international law firm is seeking a proactive Senior Compliance Analyst to join its established global Risk & Compliance function. This is an excellent role for someone ready to take the next step in their compliance career, contributing to high‑quality work across multiple jurisdictions.
What You’ll Do
- Support new client and matter inception, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Conduct AML checks, KYC reviews and sanctions searches, escalating issues where needed
- Review and advise on terms of engagement and client‑imposed terms
- Perform ongoing monitoring and assess risks throughout the client lifecycle
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date matter records
- Assist with compliance reporting, including weekly/monthly metrics
- Help set up and maintain information barriers and insider lists
- Deliver internal training to enhance best practice
- Contribute to projects to improve compliance processes
- Support audit preparation, working closely with legal risk teams
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Revenue & Collections, Marketing and Conflicts
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a compliance function within a regulated organisation (ideally a law firm)
- Law degree or GDL, with some legal work experience
- Strong AML knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks
- Ability to identify conflicts and risk issues in a legal environment
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build strong relationships
- Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and discretion
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
