Senior Compliance Analyst – London (Hybrid)

Permanent | Global Law Firm | £45,000

A leading international law firm is seeking a proactive Senior Compliance Analyst to join its established global Risk & Compliance function. This is an excellent role for someone ready to take the next step in their compliance career, contributing to high‑quality work across multiple jurisdictions.


What You’ll Do

  • Support new client and matter inception, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct AML checks, KYC reviews and sanctions searches, escalating issues where needed
  • Review and advise on terms of engagement and client‑imposed terms
  • Perform ongoing monitoring and assess risks throughout the client lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date matter records
  • Assist with compliance reporting, including weekly/monthly metrics
  • Help set up and maintain information barriers and insider lists
  • Deliver internal training to enhance best practice
  • Contribute to projects to improve compliance processes
  • Support audit preparation, working closely with legal risk teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Revenue & Collections, Marketing and Conflicts


What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a compliance function within a regulated organisation (ideally a law firm)
  • Law degree or GDL, with some legal work experience
  • Strong AML knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to identify conflicts and risk issues in a legal environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build strong relationships
  • Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and discretion
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
