Location: London Days in the Office: 2 days per week Job Title: Senior Engineer Key Skills: Work embedded in a cross-functional team with software developers, technical product owners and testers all working together towards common goals to develop JVM applications using Test Driven Development and Pair Programming Drive the design and implementation of our systems, knowing the context and why we are implementing what we are implementing, whilst always looking to improve our systems and ways of working Mentor and coach other engineers A willingness to pair program Must-Haves: Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in a cross-functional, agile development team Enthusiasm for code development and education in this area Nice-to-Haves: Experience in pair programming Proficiency in idiomatic Kotlin for application development Experience: Extensive knowledge of Java programming (5 years) 5 years practical experience in test driven development AI Integration: We have an AI special interest group and are adopting AI based on individual context
