Senior Engineer - Major Infrastructure Project (Kent) Rate: £400-£500 per day (Umbrella PAYE) Location: Kent (site-based) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Engineer / Agent to join a major long-term infrastructure programme in Kent, delivered under a high-profile framework. This role is ideal for a driven and technically strong individual with a background in civil engineering, capable of leading site operations, managing teams, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site operations and engineering activities Lead and coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards Manage programme delivery, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies Liaise with stakeholders, including clients and project teams Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation Monitor progress, costs, and reporting against project milestones Requirements: Proven experience in a Senior Engineer or Agent role within civil engineering/infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of highways, structures, or general heavy civils Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment CSCS card (essential); SMSTS Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline What's on Offer: Competitive day rate of £400-£500 (Umbrella PAYE) Long-term framework project with strong pipeline of work Opportunity to work on a high-value, complex infrastructure scheme Collaborative and professional site environment Contact Rob on 07856 926039
