Job description Senior Estimator Required A mid-sized main contractor who specialises in Commercial and residential developments have a new requirement for a Senior Estimator to assist their commercial team out of their head office in Farringdon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a medium sized business that are actively looking to expand over the next 5 years and who have already secured an impressive pipeline of prestigious projects. Role Senior Estimator Location Site based in the Reading area Rate / Salary £70,000 - £100,000 all in Projects New Build Residential Projects Duration Permanent Start Date ASAP but can wait for notice period Benefits Competitive pay 25 days annual leave Travel expenses Duties Will Include
Accurately calculating project costs (labour, materials, time, equipment) for bids. Analysing plans Gathering supplier quotes, and assessing risks to ensure profitable project acquisition Collaborating with other internal teams Managing budgets Overseeing the entire estimation process from start to finish
Requirements
Must have principal contractor residential experience Previous experience in a similar Estimator / Managing / Senior Estimator position Reliable with a strong work ethic
