Senior Estimator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a growing regional main contractor based in Fleet. The privately owned business has been operating across several sectors including mixed-use residential, care homes, industrial and stadiums valuing typically up to £80mil. Projects are typically within the South of England.

About the role of Senior Estimator:

As Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for managing the whole tender process, collaborating with the other members of the pre-construction team. You will report into the Construction Director and will be involved in mentoring junior members of staff.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Estimator:

• Review tender documents and ascertain suitability for the project
• Work from first principles
• Manage the whole tender process
• Be involved in cost planning and work through 2nd stage
• Work collaboratively with the bid team to ensure tenders are presentable

Key requirements for this Senior Estimator position:

• MUST have experience working as Estimator within a main contractor
• Proven track record of successfully securing tenders valuing up to £50mil.
• Experience with single and two stage tenders
• Live within a commutable distance to Fleet and be happy to commute to office / site on a regular basis
• Full right to work in the UK
