Were looking for a Senior Finance Manager with Adult Social Care finance experience for our local authority client based in Milton Keynes, on an initial 12-month contract paying up to £600 per day Inside IR35.

This role allows hybrid working with 1 day per week in the Milton Keynes office.

You must have recent experience supporting Adult Social Care financial planning, forecasting, and reporting within a UK local government setting.

The successful Finance Business Partner will possess proven skills working with the following:

Medium Term Financial Planning (MTFP) for Adults Services Budget setting, reporting, and savings delivery Oversight of complex grants and service-specific funding Risk mitigation, sensitivity analysis, and performance monitoring Strong stakeholder engagement including senior officers and elected members Financial governance, business case development, and transformation finance CCAB-qualified (e.g. CIPFA, ACCA, ICAEW) with post-qualification experience Team leadership and high-level reporting to Cabinet/Senior Management
