Location: London or Leeds Salary: Competitive A leading UK environmental consultancy is hiring a Senior Flood Risk and Hydraulic Modelling Consultant to join its growing Water team. This is a technical delivery role with real responsibility. You'll lead fluvial and pluvial modelling , produce Flood Risk Assessments , and support complex developments across property, renewables, and aviation .

\nWhat you'll be doing\n

\n \n Developing and running hydraulic models using Flood Modeller Pro and TUFLOW \n

\n

\n Producing and reviewing FRAs \n

\n

\n Supporting projects through planning and DCO regimes

\n

\n Liaising directly with the Environment Agency \n

\n

\n Identifying flood risk constraints and mitigation solutions

\n

\n Communicating results clearly to clients and project teams

\n

\nWhat they want\n

\n \n 4+ years' experience in flood risk and hydraulic modelling

\n

\n Strong knowledge of NPPF and flood policy \n

\n

\n Confident model development, troubleshooting, and interpretation

\n

\n EA engagement experience

\n

\n GIS and AutoCAD skills

\n

\n Clear, concise technical reporting

\n
