The finance function plays a key role in driving performance and supporting strategic growth, offering strong exposure to senior stakeholders.The RoleLead the preparation, governance and delivery of monthly management accounts for the financial services divisionProvide detailed analysis on performance vs prior period and budget, including clear commentary on key variancesOversee weekly KPI reporting, analysing trends and presenting insights to senior stakeholdersProduce high-quality reporting packs for monthly committee meetings, including presenting resultsBusiness partner with senior stakeholders across financial services, ensuring clear understanding of financial performanceSupport regulatory reporting requirements, including FCA reportingTake ownership of balance sheet controls, identifying risks and ensuring robust reconciliation processesAct as a key contact for audit, including year-end and interim processes, and preparation of technical papers (including IFRS 9)Drive continuous improvement across reporting, processes and financial controlsManage and develop a direct report, supporting their progression and performanceAbout YouQualified accountant (ACA preferred)Strong experience within financial servicesSolid understanding of IFRS 9 and expected credit loss (ECL) methodologiesProven ability to analyse complex financial data and communicate insights to non-finance stakeholdersStrong commercial awareness with high attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills, with SQL and Oracle experience beneficialConfident stakeholder manager, able to influence at senior levelTrack record of improving processes and driving efficiencies within financeWhat's on Offer£55,000 - £65,000 Base salaryHybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office)24 days holiday + bank holidaysAnnual bonus schemePension contribution up to 8%Private medical insurance and life assuranceClear opportunities for career progression within a growing businessZachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
