Senior Management AccountantSalford - on-site 5 days per week£50,000 - £55,000 DOEI am excited to be partnered with this fast-growth retail organisation in their search for a Senior Management Accountant. This role is perfectly suited to an industry-trained Management Accountant looking to take their next step up. You will be reporting into an impressive Finance Manager and will have exposure to a huge amount across the finance function.This role is an integral position within the finance team and will support the Finance Manager with the production of monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts and KPI reports to help inform management and enhance overall business performance.Key duties of the Senior Management Accountant:Lead the production of the monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentariesAssist in the production of the annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts as well as weekly P&L/cashflow forecastsEnsure compliance with all financial regulationsWork closely with the Finance Manager on the year end statutory accounts, audit and tax queriesReview accounting processes and practices to improve the efficiency of the finance functionAnalyse financial information to assist business profitability and growthCompletion of the quarterly VAT and overseas tax returnsAssist the Finance Manager and Financial Controller on ad-hoc analysis such as business cases for investment decisions etc.Support a strong learning culture within the team, helping to develop all finance colleagues by providing ad-hoc 'on the job' trainingAbout you:Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with up to two years PQE experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to thrive within a fast paced environmentAble to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach The ability to create effective working relationships quicklyA brilliant opportunity to join a growing organisation - apply now for immediate consideration!
