Project: Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishment (Flagship Scheme)

Rate: Up to £450 - £500 per day (DOE) Ltd or CIS

An experienced freelance Senior M&E SQS is required to support a major flagship commercial fit-out and refurbishment scheme in Central London, working with a Tier One contractor.
This is a technically complex, design-led project involving high-value M&E packages and a significant volume of change across multiple phases of the build. The initial programme runs for circa 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension to 12 months and further work beyond.
The Project
·        Large-scale £80mn + commercial fit-out and refurbishment
·        High-spec Cat A & Cat B spaces
·        Retail units, amenity areas, and specialist environments, including auditoriums
·        Significant M&E value with complex coordination requirements
·        High volume of variations and ongoing design development
·        Logistically challenging Central London location
Your Responsibilities
·        Lead M&E commercial management across the project
·        Manage and price variations and change control
·        Oversee subcontractor accounts and commercial performance
·        Work closely with the on-site Commercial Manager and wider project team
·        Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting
·        Support procurement and package management where required
·        Maintain strong commercial governance across all M&E packages
What We’re Looking For
·        Proven experience as an SQS working on M&E packages
·        Background with a main contractor or specialist M&E subcontractor
·        Strong experience managing variations on complex fit-out or refurbishment schemes
·        Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
·        Comfortable operating within fast-paced, high-value projects
·        Experience on Central London schemes preferred
