Candour Talent are recruiting a Senior Planner to join their client’s team in Tredegar.

* Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent

* Working Hours: Mon-Fri (early finish on Fridays)

* Salary: £38-40k DOE NEG

Our client is looking for a dynamic Senior Planner to join their team in the Tredegar area.

This role would suit a resourceful and reliable individual with extensive planning experience in manufacturing or similar, and who thrives in a fast-paced office environment.

The Role:

Overall responsibility for the scheduling process, including:

* Production process planning

* Capacity planning

* Materials scheduling

* Inventory and stock control

* Risk management

* Supplier quality and relationship management

* Forecasting

* Reporting and analysing KPIs

* Leading and supporting with improvement initiatives

* Team leadership

* Liaising and collaboration with other departments

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous senior experience as a Planner in a manufacturing environment

* Working knowledge of SAP or similar systems

* People leadership and team development experience

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, ad relationship building skills
