We are working with a major UK infrastructure organisation seeking an experienced Senior Planning Solicitor to join their in-house legal team, providing strategic legal advice on all planning and consenting matters relating to large-scale environmental and infrastructure projects.
This is a high-profile position offering the opportunity to work on nationally significant development projects, with a particular focus on Development Consent Orders (DCOs), statutory consents, and compulsory acquisition matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling the delivery of critical assets across the region.
Key responsibilities: Provide strategic legal advice on planning, consenting and environmental issues for major infrastructure projects. Lead and manage Development Consent Order (DCO) applications and related statutory processes. Advise on planning permissions, compulsory acquisition and environmental permitting.
