Senior Procurement Manager - Logistics/Supply Chain & Professional Services


Location: Swindon or London (Hybrid)

Salary: £80,000 + Car Allowance + up to 20% Bonus + Benefits


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Procurement professional to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation with a strong international presence. Working across multiple categories including Professional Services, HR, and Supply Chain, this is a pivotal role within a centralised procurement function that partners with stakeholders across the group.


The Role:

This is a strategic procurement position where you’ll lead the development and execution of category strategies, delivering commercial value, innovation, and risk mitigation across the organisation. You'll play a critical role in shaping procurement best practice, driving performance, and supporting a high performing team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead category strategies aligned to business goals across both UK and global operations.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead on high-value procurement projects, including tendering and complex negotiations.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from RFI/RFP to contract implementation.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance through effective SRM practices.
  • Drive value optimisation, cost efficiencies, and compliance within designated spend areas.
  • Mentor and support junior procurement professionals within the team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and across the wider business.


What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior procurement role managing multiple indirect categories.
  • Background in categories such as HR, Supply Chain or Professional Services.
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record managing supplier relationships and delivering cost savings.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of managing direct reports.
  • Knowledge of contract law and experience drafting commercial contracts.
  • CIPS qualified or working towards is desirable, not essential.
