Senior Procurement Manager - Logistics/Supply Chain & Professional Services
Location: Swindon or London (Hybrid)
Salary: £80,000 + Car Allowance + up to 20% Bonus + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Procurement professional to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation with a strong international presence. Working across multiple categories including Professional Services, HR, and Supply Chain, this is a pivotal role within a centralised procurement function that partners with stakeholders across the group.
The Role:
This is a strategic procurement position where you’ll lead the development and execution of category strategies, delivering commercial value, innovation, and risk mitigation across the organisation. You'll play a critical role in shaping procurement best practice, driving performance, and supporting a high performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead category strategies aligned to business goals across both UK and global operations.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders to meet evolving business needs.
Lead on high-value procurement projects, including tendering and complex negotiations.
Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from RFI/RFP to contract implementation.
Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance through effective SRM practices.
Drive value optimisation, cost efficiencies, and compliance within designated spend areas.
Mentor and support junior procurement professionals within the team.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and across the wider business.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years’ experience in a senior procurement role managing multiple indirect categories.
Background in categories such as HR, Supply Chain or Professional Services.
Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
Proven track record managing supplier relationships and delivering cost savings.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience of managing direct reports.
Knowledge of contract law and experience drafting commercial contracts.
CIPS qualified or working towards is desirable, not essential.
