Job Description
A regional main contractor renowned for quality, integrity, and innovation in the construction sector is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team in Birmingham, working on high-rise and multi-room residential projects.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a growing, dynamic team that values collaboration, transparency, and career development.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nWork on a variety of high-rise and multi-room projects across the Midlands, reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager.\nProvide commercial support to project teams both on-site and in the office.\nEnsure projects are administered effectively, meeting commercial targets and client expectations.\nOversee procurement, measurement, cost control, and accruals calculations.\nContribute to monthly reporting, earned value analysis, and commercial planning.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Main Contractor.\nExperience on high-rise, multi-room, or large-scale residential projects is highly desirable.\nKnowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.\nUnderstanding of current Construction Law.\nStrong commercial management experience.\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\nExcellent team player and communicator.\nAbility to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards.\nStrong operational planning and time management skills.\nCommitment to quality, compliance, and client-focused delivery.\n\nSalary & Benefits\n\nUp to £70,000 per annum\nOpportunity to work on landmark Birmingham projects\nCareer growth and professional development in a supportive team
