Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Key Information:

London - 3 days a week in office

£65,000 to £75,000

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a HV energy infrastructure project based in London. This is a key commercial role within a contractor-led environment, offering the opportunity to work on complex and high-value energy works.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all commercial aspects of the project under NEC4 contracts Oversee cost control, forecasting, and reporting, including CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) Lead procurement activities and manage the supply chain effectively Administer subcontractor packages, including valuations, variations, and final accounts Implement and manage robust change control processes Produce accurate and timely commercial reports for senior stakeholders Support project delivery teams to ensure commercial success and compliance

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within HV / energy / utilities projects Strong working knowledge and practical application of NEC4 contracts Experience working on the contractor side (essential) Demonstrated expertise in: Supply chain management Procurement CVRs and financial reporting Change management Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
