Job Description
Our client, a major player in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Manchester. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of significant and diverse civil engineering projects, providing essential quantity surveying expertise within the water industry.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvision of accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels\nCost management and project forecasting\nDrafting and updating monthly CVRs, cost and commercial plans\nSubcontract procurement, negotiation, and financial accounting\nPreparation of project applications for payment to final account settlement\nLiaison with clients and third parties on commercial issues\nManaging contract and subcontract agreements, primarily IChemE and NEC forms\nSupporting internal commercial processes \n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience in the construction / water industries\nKnowledge of IChemE and NEC forms of contract\nExperience in commercial management & Quantity Surveying\nProven experience in monthly forecasting and cost analysisDesirable:\n\nMembership of RICS or similar professional body\nCSCS card\nDegree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying\nExperience managing or mentoring team members \n\nBenefits:\n\nCompany pension\nLife assurance\nPrivate medical insurance\n25 days of annual leave plus public holidays\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nFlexible benefits via salary sacrifice\nCompany car/green car scheme/car allowance \n\nIf you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to further your career in the water sector, we would love to hear from you
