\n\n You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the successful delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects across rail, utilities, defence, aviation, and highways. \n\nThe Opportunity: \n\n In this role, as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll manage costs and budgets across a range of construction projects - from early cost advice through to final account settlement. You’ll be trusted to lead, supported to grow, and encouraged to shape your career in a way that works for you.

\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\n\nManaging project costs across new builds, refurbishments, and maintenance projects \n Providing clear and confident cost advice from project inception to completion \n Building strong, positive relationships with clients and stakeholders \n Preparing cost plans, estimates, and option studies \n Advising on procurement strategies and managing tender processes \n Evaluating tenders and preparing reports \n Valuing works, managing payments, and agreeing final accounts \n Acting as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent where required \n Producing clear, well-presented reports for clients \n Supporting business growth and mentoring others where appropriate \n Working collaboratively within supportive, multidisciplinary teams\nWhat We’re Looking For: \n\n You don’t need to tick every box - if you meet most of these and are excited by the role, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nExperience in cost management (quantity surveying) across the UK infrastructure sector (Rail, Utilities, Aviation, Water, Highways, Maritime, Defence etc) \n Strong NEC Contract (NEC3 or NEC4) experience and knowledge \n Pre-contract and post-contract experience \n Good understanding of construction methods and contracts \n Confident communicator who enjoys working with people \n Organised, methodical, and solutions-focused \n Comfortable managing multiple priorities \n A team player who values collaboration and \n Professional qualifications and/or membership of the RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS or another relevant Chartered Institute are desirable, and will be supported if not already attained \n Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards chartership\nWhat on offer for you:\n\nOpportunity to make a difference and work on high-profile, meaningful projects \n Flexible and hybrid working options \n Supportive leadership and genuine work-life balance \n Clear progression pathways and mentoring \n Support and funding for training - qualifications and accreditations \n Inclusive culture that values and wellbeing\n How to Apply: \n \n If you’re ready to take on exciting challenges and play a key role in delivering some of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure projects, we’d love to hear from you.
