Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developer Bromley £80,000 per annum
Hill McGlynn Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing residential developer based in Bromley, who is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Our client delivers high-quality residential schemes across **London and the South East, and this role offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a lead role on multiple developments.
The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have full commercial responsibility for residential projects, supporting delivery teams while ensuring robust cost control and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Full commercial management of residential development projects Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers Valuing works, managing variations, and negotiating final accounts Managing commercial risk and ensuring profitability Supporting and mentoring junior commercial team members Working closely with project managers, site teams, and senior leadership The Ideal Candidate Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within residential development or housebuilding Strong commercial and contractual knowledge Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects across London and the South East What’s on Offer £80,000 salary Opportunity to work for a respected residential developer Projects across London and the South East Long-term role with stability and clear progression If you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity with a quality residential developer, Hill McGlynn Recruitment would welcome your application.
