Senior Quantity Surveyor - The Company:

Our client is a successful main contractor specialising in new build Social Housing with an established reputation within the South Wales market. Typical projects are medium to large scale land-lead social housing new build projects across South Wales, partnering with leading HA's.

Senior Quantity Surveyor - The Role:

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the regional commercial team at SQS level. You will be responsible for leading the day to day commercial aspects of 3 new build projects as commercial lead. This position will report to a Commercial Manager/Director.

Typical duties & responsibilities:

* Cashflows and CVR's for all projects

* Contract Management & issuing of EOTs

* To ensure optimum commercial return is achieved for the project.

* Prepare the cost / value reconciliation reports accurately

* Prepare and agree interim valuations at the agreed dates to gain the best commercial advantage for the company.

* Agree final accounts with subcontractors to maximise project margins.
