Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems design, integration, and testing across complex engineering programmes. You’ll work across multidisciplinary teams (software, mechanical, electrical) and support projects from concept through delivery.


Key responsibilities:

  • Design, integrate and verify complex systems across the full product lifecycle
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, proposals and reports
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders in a customer-facing environment
  • Deliver engineering packages to time, cost and quality targets


About you:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycles
  • Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, proactive and able to work across multiple projects


Desirable experience:

  • Radar, radio, navigation or communications systems
  • Defence, naval or safety-critical environments
  • Test and verification to industry standards (e.g. MIL-STD, IEC)
  • Electronics, fault finding, EMC/ESD, and test equipment
  • Leadership of multi-disciplinary engineering teams


This role will be based on-site in Enfield and looking at a salary of up to £65,000.


You will need to hold or be eligible for Security Clearance.
