Department Underwriting Location London Specific Responsibilities
Manage and develop broker relationships for this line of business Maintain a strong focus on core client/broker relationships Underwrite risks for your line of business within your underwriting authority and the agreed business plan Receive submissions from brokers, undertake full risk analysis, complete pre‑underwriting documentation Agree endorsements within your underwriting authority Ensure risks offered and bound are within modelled tolerances or that exceptions are approved Work in collaboration with group underwriting teams Assist and guide junior members of the team in underwriting processes Produce analytics and management information reports as required Assist with ad hoc projects and research work as required Experience writing Open Market business and knowledge of brokers in the specs
