IT Service Centre Specialist

Hours: Full time 37.5hrs

Role Overview:
- Provide first-line incident management to all IT Service Customers, IS Teams, and Vendors contacting the IT Service Centre.
- Act as a customer-focused, single point of contact for Bupa IS customers.
Responsibilities:
- Offer first-line support according to SLA standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism and regular updates.
- Recommend improvements to team practices and performance.
- Participate in departmental meetings and initiatives for continual improvement.
- Stay updated on Bupa organization, healthcare market, and IT industry trends.
- Follow ITIL-based procedures to ensure cost-effective and efficient service.
- Achieve security accreditation for user account administration, ensuring compliance.
- Log, progress, and resolve requests and incidents, keeping customers informed.
- Coordinate external vendor queues to ensure timely fault and request handling.
- Advise customers on hardware/software purchases with technical teams.
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned and support operational shifts.
- Support temporary secondments to other IS customer service teams.
Qualifications:
- ITIL qualification or experience in IT Service Desk role.
- Strong customer focus and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Desktop products and Infrastructure components.
- Organizational skills.
