Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer service to all customers
  • Serve customers and process cash and card payments accurately
  • Assist shoppers in locating products and provide knowledgeable, friendly support
  • Keep shelves stocked and organised efficiently, including handling large deliveries
  • Conduct stock checks and manage product rotation to minimise waste
  • Support promotional activities and maintain visual merchandising standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and secure store environment
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and report operational issues promptly
  • Work as part of a strong team, helping colleagues and contributing to a positive store culture

Qualifications

  • Customer-focused and task-driven individuals
  • Comfortable serving both Chinese-speaking and local customers
  • Fast, efficient, and reliable in completing daily tasks
  • Team-oriented and ready to help colleagues succeed
  • Previous retail or customer service experience (essential)
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English (desirable)
  • Familiarity with East & South-East Asian foods (desirable)
  • Right to work in the UK
