O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a Site Engineer for a new commercial project in Chorley. Candidates MUST have civils/groundwork experience and must have at least 5 years' experience in a site engineer role.

The Role:

- Reviewing, coordinating and ensuring accurate setting out according to the construction drawings, specifications and overall Works Requirements.

- Reviewing material and works specifications including developing Technical Submissions

- Reviewing construction Methodologies and ensuring compliance with specifications.

- Manage and coordinate subcontractor daily/weekly progress meetings, workshops and follow through with planned actions.

- Reviewing, maintaining and controlling site records and contemporaneous records relating to works, installation, materials and labour.

Requirements:

- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar qualification

- At least 5 years of experience working with on groundwork/civils projects as a site engineer

- Experience with drainage, Pilling, kerbing, foundations, steel frames, roads, etc.

- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.

- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
