Freelance Site Manager Cat B Commercial Fit-Out Location: Maidstone, Kent Duration: 16 weeks Rate: £250 -£280 per day (DOE, CIS) Start: Immediate interviews & Start 23rd Feb The Project Join an exciting high-spec commercial fit-out project valued at £3m, covering full Cat A & B works. This role offers the opportunity to deliver premium finishes in a logistically challenging urban environment, supported by an experienced project and design team. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage day-to-day site operations across multiple floors. * Drive programme sequencing and coordinate subcontractors effectively. * Maintain rigorous health & safety standards and quality compliance. * Manage logistics within a constrained site environment. * Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges. * Ensure delivery of high-end finishes to exacting standards. About You * Proven experience delivering Cat A/B fit-out or structural refurbishment projects up to £3m. * Experience with reputable design & build contractors or specialist fit-out teams. * Strong technical understanding with excellent drawing interpretation skills. * Leadership presence with the ability to drive site performance. * Experience working on tight urban sites in high-demand environments.
