We are a team of 15, mostly based in Paris, with a passion for crafting great software blazingly fast and working hand in hand with our customers to find innovative solutions to their most important problems.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly technical and customer‑oriented Solutions Consultant to join our growing team. As a Solutions Consultant, you will bridge the gap between our Sales and Product teams, playing a critical role in the pre‑sales process. You will be responsible for understanding prospect requirements, designing tailored solutions, and demonstrating the technical capabilities of the Dotfile platform to both technical and business stakeholders. You will report directly to the Director of Solutions Consulting.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a technical advisor during the sales process, working alongside the Sales team to qualify opportunities and design solutions that address customer needsLead technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their compliance workflows, technical architecture, and integration requirementsDeliver compelling product demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts that showcase how Dotfile solves specific customer challengesDesign and present technical solutions and integration architectures tailored to each prospect’s unique environmentCreate technical proposals, solution documentation, and integration plans for prospective customersRespond to technical questions in RFPs and security questionnairesCollaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and influence product roadmapSupport the Technical Account Manager during complex implementations, providing technical expertise and solution guidanceStay current on compliance regulations, industry trends, and competitive landscape to position Dotfile effectivelyContribute to the development of technical collateral, best practices documentation, and internal knowledge baseAbout YouYou have 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Pre‑Sales Engineering, or similar technical customer‑facing role, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or RegTechYou possess strong technical skills with deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication protocols, and modern integration patternsYou have experience designing technical architectures and can communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiencesYou have excellent presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiencesYou have a consultative approach and can quickly understand customer business challenges and translate them into technical requirementsYou are comfortable working in a fast‑paced sales environment and can manage multiple opportunities simultaneouslyYou have strong problem‑solving abilities and can think creatively to design innovative solutionsYou have experience with RegTech or financial services technology (nice to have)You are fluent in English; French is a plusYou are passionate about technology and helping customers succeed through innovative solutionsThe interview processRound 1: First conversation to get to know you, understand what drives you, and explore why this role excites you.Round 2: Two‑part discussion where you’ll walk us through your career journey and the choices that shaped it, followed by a values‑based conversation where you’ll share real examples of how you demonstrate Ownership, Pace & Intensity, High Standards, and Resilience.Round 3: Deep dive into one of your key projects with someone from a different team, offering a fresh, cross‑functional perspective on how you work.Round 4: Practical exercise, case study tailored to the role, giving you the opportunity to showcase your skills on a real‑world challenge.Round 5: Final conversation with our founders to discuss your long‑term vision and explore how you see yourself growing with us.
