Your role will be based in Penrose Croft, Helston which is well under construction and set to be open in April 2026!

The Role:
Working as part of the kitchen team as a Sous Chef you will help prepare and cook all food and meals to the highest standard within the care home. Assisting with the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals for our residents based around specific dietary requirements, choices and desires whilst maintaining a safe and clean environment. The catering team plays a key part in our home and you will become part of the care home family.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the food they cook and takes pride in what is served to our residents on a day-to-day basis. Previous experience would be an advantage, as would a food hygiene qualification.
Hours of work:
Your hours of work will be 08.00 – 18.00 and you will be expected to work on a permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on, followed by three consecutive shifts off. This will equate to an average working week of 35 hours in total.
Rate of pay: £15.62 per hour
