We're looking for a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our friendly catering team at Kendrew Barracks.
You'll play a key role in delivering fresh, high-quality meals for service personnel across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

• Prepare and serve delicious, high-quality meals

• Support the Head Chef with menu planning, ordering, and kitchen operations

• Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards

• Manage stock control and minimise waste

• Lead, train, and motivate junior kitchen team members

• Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen role (Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie)

• Computer literate and confident with kitchen systems

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent

• Food Hygiene Certificate

• Team player with great communication skills

• Passion for quality food and customer satisfaction ❤️

• Flexibility to work early and late shifts, including 1 weekend in 4
