This is a brand-new role, giving you the opportunity to take real ownership as the dedicated DBA leading this migration journey. This position is ideal for a mid-level DBA who enjoys hands-on technical work and wants to play a key role in shaping a modern, cloud-first database environment. The Role You'll be responsible for managing a sizeable estate of ~60 production databases, ensuring performance, stability, and optimisation across the platform. A major focus will be working closely with development teams to refactor queries, improve performance, and support best practices across SQL and Azure. You'll also play a key role in the ongoing migration to Azure, gaining exposure to cloud technologies while driving improvements in database performance and scalability.
