We're recruiting an experienced Freelance Sub Agent to support a major highways infrastructure scheme, overseeing bridge construction and associated structural works. This role is ideal for a proactive, delivery-driven professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership of critical structural packages.

Role Responsibilities

·Daily supervision and coordination of bridge and structural work fronts
·Work closely with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain progress
·Ensure works are delivered in line with design, specifications, and QA requirements
·Coordinate permits, method statements, risk assessments, and site documentation
·Monitor progress, manage interfaces, and support programme delivery
·Uphold site safety standards and contribute to short-term planning
·Provide accurate reporting and updates to the Site Agent/Project Management

Essential Experience

·Strong Civil Engineering background (degree or equivalent required)
·Proven experience delivering structures -bridges, RC works, culverts, retaining walls, or similar
·Solid understanding of highways construction and major project environments
·Ability to operate independently, solve problems, and drive productivity on-site
·Valid CSCS; SMSTS/SSSTS preferred
