Secondary Teacher of Design Technology - Thanet * Job Title: Teacher of Design Technology * Key Stage: 3 & 4 (KS5 for the right candidate) * Location: Thanet * Start Date: April 2026 * Salary: £170.00 to £260.00 per day (In line with your current pay scale) * Full/Part Time: Full Time Secondary Teacher of Design Technology - Thanet Academics are currently supporting a large school in Thanet in appointing a suitably qualified Teacher of Design and Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a progressive Design and Technology department and create outstanding learning opportunities. The successful applicant will be required to teach a range of Design Technology subjects to KS3 and KS4. There is the possibility to teach KS5 for suitable applicants. Requirements To be considered for the Teacher of Design Technology position, you will: * Have experience teaching DT subject areas to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 level * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Be a motivated teacher who inspires your pupils and is keen to work with colleagues to develop the delivery of the DT curriculum * Be innovative and resourceful when delivering curriculum. * Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons * Be flexible collaborative and resilient * Have high expectations of your pupils, the school and yourself.
