The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to assist students across the classroom. You will help create a positive learning environment, support lesson activities, and provide additional support to students who may need extra guidance to reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Working with small groups and individual students to reinforce learning
Assisting with classroom behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
Supporting students with varying learning needs, including those who may require additional support
Helping to prepare classroom resources and materials
Encouraging student participation, confidence and independence in learning

Requirements:

Previous UK-based secondary school experience is essential and candidates without this will not be considered
Experience supporting young people in a classroom setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, patient and supportive approach
A genuine passion for supporting students' education and development
