About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers and pupils across the curriculum. Your responsibilities may include:

Working one-on-one or with small groups of pupils

Assisting the class teacher with planning and lesson delivery

Helping manage classroom behaviour

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

You will have the chance to experience a range of school settings and age groups across Stockton-on-Tees, helping you discover the environment that suits you best.

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people (any setting considered)

A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Two professional references covering the past 2 years
