Zest Education is working in close partnership with a special educational needs school located in Telford. The school are looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to start September 2025 and will continue on a long-term basis into the new academic year. The successful candidate must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30-15:30.
As a Teaching Assistant in this unique educational setting, you will have the opportunity to work within different Learning Zones, each catering to a specific key stage group. The school takes great pride in showcasing the exceptional work and achievements of its pupils, and you will join a team of proud staff members who are keen to support you in your role.
The school specifically caters to students aged between 5-14, who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Therefore, we are looking for an ideal candidate who has previous experience working with special educational needs or within a care environment. Your understanding of these needs will be vital in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for the students.
To be successful in this role, you need to be confident, enthusiastic, and have the ability to identify and engage with different learning needs.
