Job Description Technical Account Manager | Cloud Consulting & Platform Engineering | UK Cleared Environments
\n Location: London, UK (Hybrid – typically 1+ days per week in-office or on client site)

Package: £100,000–£120,000 base + up to 30% bonus + ~10% equity + comprehensive benefits

The Role This is a senior, client-facing  Technical Account Manager  role where you will own strategic cloud transformation accounts and act as the primary bridge between delivery teams and executive stakeholders.
You will lead  post-sales  engagement across complex cloud, platform engineering and governance programmes, ensuring delivery quality, long-term partnership success and commercial growth. Your focus will be on turning technical delivery into measurable business outcomes while expanding the account in a controlled, value-led way.
Non-Negotiables You will act as the senior owner for your accounts, trusted by both technical teams and C-level stakeholders. In this role, you will:
\n Own executive-level client relationships and build long-term strategic partnerships.
\n
Understand business drivers around cloud cost, governance, security, developer productivity and time-to-market, and position solutions accordingly.
\n
Develop and execute account growth plans, identifying new opportunities and supporting proposals and commercial discussions.
\n
Oversee delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring governance, resourcing, milestones, risk management and margin control.
\n
Act as the escalation point for delivery challenges, maintaining client confidence at all times.
\n
Translate technical delivery into clear business outcomes using measurable value metrics.
\n
Lead account reviews, roadmap sessions and value-realisation updates with senior stakeholders.
\n
You must be eligible for UK Security Clearance, including:
\n British citizenship or Indefinite Leave to Remain.
\n
UK for the past 5 years.
\n
No criminal record or financial irregularities.
\n
What You’ll Work With You will operate across modern cloud and platform engineering environments, including:
\n \n AWS  and  Azure  cloud platforms
\n
Platform engineering and internal developer platforms
\n
Kubernetes and containerised workloads
\n
DevOps and automation practices
\n
Cloud governance, security and cost optimisation
\n
AI accelerators and data-driven platforms
\n
You will collaborate closely with engineering, consulting, product, sales and finance teams to ensure delivery quality and account growth.
Nice to Haves
\n Experience working in regulated or highly complex environments (public sector, financial services, insurance).
\n
Background producing client case studies, value-realisation reports or executive briefings.
\n
Contribution to thought leadership through workshops, events or whitepapers.
\n
Expert-level cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
\n
Kubernetes administration or security certifications.
\n
